This card is a gable fold card which I began with a piece of Stamper's Select white card stock, scoring it and folding the centers in. To each of the panels I adhered first a piece of Sweet Blush card stock. I then used my Martha Stewart border punch to create a lacy looking border from vellum card stock, to each of the panels. Lastly I then adhered a slightly smaller piece of 6 X 6 Pink Patterns papers to all of those panels. I set eyelets in each side so that I'd have a nicely finished place to thread the ribbon that I would use as a closure.
The medallion was also made using the Wedding Day set, along with the numbers which are from the Simple Alphabet set. These letters and numbers are easy to use and align on my clear, grid block because the bottoms of each letter or number are square and exactly the same size so it really makes it a breeze to line them up and get the correct spacing. I adhered two tiny crystals between the month/day/year instead of using dashes.
The inside of the card expresses such a sweet sentiment to me..."with this ring, I thee wed". Six simple words that mean so very much as a couple beings their lives together. For this sentiment I stamped stamped the frame & sentiments and then used my Nestabilities to cut the oval. Then using a pair of scalloped scissors, I cut a piece of the same vellum card stock that I used on the front to trim out the oval. Both were adhered to the base using dimensions. The two rings are punched from circle punches using silver metallic card stock.
This pretty much wraps up the projects that I have done for the release. I'm sure these won't be the last of the cards/projects that I made with these new sets because they all work for so many different occasions!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you make it a fabulous Wednesday.

Hi! this card is stunning and I would love to do a gable fold card. Do you happen to have dimensions and scoring dimensions? I have been unsuccessful in my search for a template. If you can help, awesome!

Stunning! A beautiful wedding card - I have a good friend who is getting married this summer and you have persuaded me to purchase this stamp set. Thanks for sharing!
