BC81 Break out that Designer Paper

What a long week it's been...well, actually it's been a long 5 days. Going back to work this week after having 2 weeks off, is never a pleasure, but I'm really having a rough time getting back into the swing of things. UGH.


As you can guess, I'm very pleased that it's Friday, as are most workin' folks. But I'm also happy that it's time for another Blogger's Challenge. This week, we focus our attention on designer paper. I chose to use some of Stampin' Up! newest patterned paper, Hand Drawn. I just love the fact that some of the designs in this pack focus on birthdays and cupcakes. I'm trying to get going on some of the MANY birthday cards that I'll need in the coming months, and this card in particular is already in the postal service, on it's way to a special lady.

I chose to do a scalloped gate fold for this birthday greeting. Cutting two scallops I then scored each of them in half, adhered them to the patterned paper, then attached it all to a 4-1/4" X 5-1/2" base. Pretty simple, I'd say!
